Google Pixel 3 Lite gets compared to Pixel 3 XL and iPhones

Google only had two Pixel 3 smartphones to show off back in October, unveiling the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. But it certainly looks like the company has another variant on the way.

What is being called the Pixel 3 Lite popped up for the first time earlier this month. As the name suggests, this is a slightly tweaked version of the standard Pixel 3 with some mid-range specs. The processor changes and the battery shrinks, but the device may boast a 3.5mm headphone jack, too.

Now Russian website Wylsa has managed to get their hands on the Pixel 3 Lite. This time around we get to see it compared to not only the Pixel 3 XL, but also Apple’s iPhone XS and iPhone XR.

We’re just looking at a brief size comparison between phones out there in the wild right now, and an unannounced handset. We can see that the Pixel 3 Lite’s 5.56-inch display fits nicely between the iPhone XS and iPhone XR, for instance, even if it does have the bigger bezels on the top and bottom. And, unsurprisingly, the Pixel 3 XL is much bigger than the Pixel 3 Lite.

The Pixel 3 Lite is expected to boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a 12MP rear camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint reader on the back, and a battery that measures in at 2915mAh. A solid mid-ranger, it sounds like. Now we just have to wait for Google to make the device officially official at some point.

Depending on the price, would you buy the Pixel 3 Lite?
