The Pixel Slate may be hotly anticipated but the current market has a range of solid Chromebooks that are available now. Two of those Chromebooks are from HP, the x2 Chrome OS tablet and the x360 Chromebook. Right now, both devices are deeply discounted at Best Buy as part of the retailer’s Cyber Monday sale (links at the bottom). If you’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on a Chromebook, now’s the time to do it.
The HP x2 is discounted to $499, down from the original price of $599. The x2 features a 12.3-inch 2400×1600 touchscreen display in a tablet form factor that can snap into a keyboard/trackpad combo, turning it into laptop, similar to how the Microsoft Surface Pro functions. Other specs include an Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, two USB-C ports, media card reader, headphone jack, and Bang & Olufsen speakers. Plus, the x2 includes an active pen for drawing, writing, and more.
The HP x360 is a standard Chromebook boasting a 14-inch 1080p touchscreen display. Best Buy currently has the x360 marked down to $449, down from the usual price of $649. The x360 is equipped with an Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM, 64GB storage, one USB port, two USB-C ports, media card reader, headphone jack, and Bang & Olufsen speakers. One notable feature of the x360 is that its design can fold backwards, turning it into a form factor similar to a tablet.
The sales are only good for Cyber Monday so act fast if you want to grab them. Links down below.
