If you been listen to tech rumors lately, you probably know Fitbit is working on a fully-fledged smartwatch. The device was supposed to make an entry on the market before the debut of the new Apple Watch this fall, but due to production issues, Fitbit’s intelligent timepiece was delayed until autumn.
While we wait for the product to go official, Yahoo Finance managed to get a hold of a batch of renders which give us a sneak peek of the yet-to-be-released product. As visible in the images, the smartwatch features a square display and two physical buttons on the side.
Some information about the product dubbed ‘Project Higgs’ was also revealed alongside the visual support. The product should arrive with a colour touch-screen display, a built-in GPS and the ability to make touchless payments. It will also be compatible with music services such as Pandora, but sadly not Spotify. The most interesting part comes now – the intelligent timepiece is expected to be able to support up to four days of battery life on a single charge.
According to the information at hand, the smartwatch will sell for approximately $410 CAD. Alongside it, Fitbit is going to roll out a pair of Bluetooth headphones codenamed Parkside which bear a striking resemblance to the Beats X earbuds. The earphones will be available in Nightfall Blue and Lunar Gray for around $205 CAD.
