Google launched Android Wear 2.0 yesterday and also announced a few new hardware partners-like ZTE.
ZTE’s first Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch will launch soon and will probably make an appearance in Barcelona at MWC 2017.
We’re also treated with a photo of the upcoming device called Quartz which showcases a circular intelligent time piece with what appears to be a rubber strap.
The report from Venture Beat goes on to reveal the wearable will come equipped with 3G/LTE, which means users will be able to receive phone calls on their wrist. We’re not given other details, but surely more will become available in the upcoming days/weeks.
ZTE previously talked about releasing an Android Wear smartwatch with a long battery life. We sure hope that prices will be kept affordable. The Axon 7 is one of the best budget-friendly flagships on the market, so certainly customers would love to see an affordable smartwatch from the company as well.
ZTE will be coming to Barcelona to showcase a few products including a mobile phone concept and the recently released dual-camera ZTE Blade V8.
