If you have been in the market for a new Chromebook, and have been eyeballing the Google Pixelbook, now might be a good time to jump on it.
The Pixelbook, with its 12.9-inch touchscreen and 128GB of built-in storage, went on sale with a $1,000 price tag, which may have put it out of reach for a lot of potential customers. Now Google is dropping the price by $250, marking it down to just $749.00. That’s quite the steep discount, and Google says it will be around only for a limited time from its online store and Best Buy.
What’s more, that discount applies to every model of the Pixelbook, including the top-of-the-line model with 512GB of built-in storage, 16GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i7 processor under the hood. That model is now priced at $1,399.00.
For a high-end Chrome OS product, the Pixelbook hits all the right marks. And while that initial price tag may have been prohibitive to some, if not most, at $750 the Pixelbook might be an attractive option.
