Samsung’s First Dual Camera Phone Shows Up in Renders

At one point in time everyone believed Samsung’s first dual-camera device would be the Galaxy Note 8. Well as recent leaks have revealed, it seems Samsung’s first attempt at a dual-camera product will be a mid-range smartphone.

Samsung’s middle-range portfolio is pretty bland (except for the Galaxy A family) but the upcoming Galaxy C10 appears to have more potential.

This week a few renders depicting the yet-to-be released Galaxy C10 have appeared online in all their glory showing the dual-camera setup in question. What’s more, if you look closely you’ll be able to spot another interesting aspect – the phone apparently has a dedicated Bixby button.

What this means is that Bixby will soon cease to be an exclusive to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ flagships. Perhaps Samsung is following Google’s footsteps – initially the search giant offered its own Google Assistant on the Pixel and Pixel XL, only to unleash it on all Android handset running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or above a few months later.

Other than that, the device which appears in the renders also seem to sport a dual-LED flash living alongside the camera lenses, as well as an USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm jack on the bottom.

We’re still in the dark about the actual specs of the Galaxy C10, but as soon as we know more we’ll return with an update.
