It’s pretty common knowledge at this point that Motorola is prepping a slew of budget smartphones that should launch soon.
One of these handsets, the Moto E4 had its spec list leaked in all of its glory courtesy of WinFuture’s Roland Quandt. His Twitter post also revealed the Canadian price of the device which is apparently set at $249.99 CAD.
Expect the Moto E4 to arrive with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 resolution (294 ppi) with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The budget handset should pack a MediaTek MT6737M processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 128GB).

It also features a primary 8-megapixel snapper with LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. In some markets, the Moto E4 will also boasts NFC, although it’s not clear whether it applies to Canada.
The listing also reveals the phone will rely on a removable 2,800 mAh battery and will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
We’re also told the phone should start shipping to consumers on July 17. If this information is indeed accurate it appears we still have some waiting to do before the Moto E4 launches. Recently Motorola unveiled the super low-budget Moto C and Moto C Plus.
