T-Mobile’s Tourist Plan launches on June 12 for those visiting the US

The majority of announcements that T-Mobile has revolve around wireless subscribers in the United States, but the magenta carrier’s latest announcement is tuned more towards the folks who will be visiting the country from other regions of the globe.

It’s called the Tourist Plan, and it launches on June 12. The carrier says it’ll be a super-easy way for visitors of the United States to use their phone without having to worry about a ton of overages or other charges. The Tourist Plan will cost $30 per month and will work for three weeks once activated. It will give the customer 1000 minutes of domestic calling, unlimited texting to U.S.-based numbers and to 140 other countries and destinations, and unlimited data with access to 2GB of high-speed data. The plan also supports a Wi-Fi hotspot.

T-Mobile says international travelers just need to visit an official T-Mobile store or one of the many T-Mobile prepaid dealers. Customers won’t need to pay for a SIM card, and they won’t need to pay an activation fee, either. However, it’s worth noting that the plan doesn’t include Binge On or Music Freedom.
