Android 5.1.1 for the Galaxy S6 previewed in new video

Android 5.1.1 was announced not too long ago, so for anyone that’s dying to have the latest and greatest version of the mobile platform on their device, the wait might be a little bit tough. That’s especially true for devices like the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge that have a custom user interface and typically take a bit longer to receive the newest software.

That hasn’t stopped the folks at SamMobile from getting their hands on Android 5.1.1, though, and putting a nice video together that showcases the newest software on the aforementioned flagships. While the update itself isn’t huge — it’s meant specifically to address bugs within Android — there are still some noteworthy additions.

That includes a slider in the camera app that will easily let owners adjust the exposure. There is also a new button within the app drawer that will let users sort the apps therein alphabetically, and the new ability to remove S Finder and Quick Connect from the notification shade.

That’s not a lot, but there are some new additions that should give many Galaxy S6 and S6 edge owners excited to receive the updated software.
