After initially testing the service in Philadelphia, Verizon’s Same Day Delivery service has gone official in additional markets. The service, which is self-explanatory, allows orders placed online before 10:00AM (local) to arrive later that day. The added cities include New York City, Pittsburgh, Dallas, San Francisco, and their surrounding areas. But be aware that Same Day Delivery may not be available to every single address that surrounds those cities. Another caveat is that prepaid devices are off limits and only on-contract smartphones can be selected. The service costs $20, just $5 more than the overnight shipping option.
