Google’s Chromecast is currently receiving a minor update that refreshes the home screen and fixes some bugs. Google says that the update, build 14651, “will be rolled out over the next week, and you should receive the update automatically.” This is nothing new for Chromecast, updates silently get sent over to the dongle so users have nothing to worried or frustrated about.
