Google just took the wraps off "Stadia," its new multiplatform game-streaming service. Details are still sparse (the announcement is ongoing as we speak), but we're pulling together all the pertinent details from Google's GDC Keynote as we get them. Here's what we know.
Stadia follows last year's Project Stream test, which Google views as a resounding success.
The streaming platform supports Chrome, as you'd probably expect, but Sundar Pichai (Google's CEO) also mentioned other platforms, including the company's Pixel devices, with plans to support more browsers and platforms over time.
