Square Enix is actually bringing Star Ocean: Anamnesis to the West, and you can pre-register for a release announcement right now on the Google Play Store. One thing to understand is that this title has been available in Japan since 2016, which is why it's so surprising to see an English translation in the works two years later. For the most part, this plays just like one of Square's other gacha games Mobius Final Fantasy.
