Honor 7X getting updated to EMUI 8.0 on April 30

If you’re an owner of an Honor 7X, then go ahead and circle April 30 on the calendar, because that’s when you’ll be getting your next major software update.

Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, has announced that the Honor 7X will be getting updated to EMUI 8.0. The update will begin going out over the air on April 30. Honor is adding plenty of worthwhile features to the 7X with the new update, including a floating navigation dock, “seamless LinkedIn integration”, the ability to link two different Bluetooth devices to the handset at the same time, face unlock, and a recycle bin in the phone’s gallery.

There’s no word on how big the update is, but one would imagine you’ll probably want to be connected to Wi-Fi to download and install once the update arrives.

Do you own an Honor 7X? If this EMUI 8.0 update has you interested in buying one, you can get the affordable Honor 7X right here.
