Now that we are officially in 2018, all eyes are on what’s next from Samsung, which is expected to launch the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in the early stages of the year.
We’ve seen renders of what the S9 and S9+ could look like, they’ve passed through the FCC gauntlet, and we’ve heard that they may even show up at CES in January ahead of an official launch in February. So a hands-on image of the two handsets was inevitable at this point, especially with CES right around the corner.
The image above was recently shared to the Chinese social network Weibo. It looks genuine enough, but you should take it with a grain of salt for now. The image does appear confirm the rumors that we’ve heard about the Galaxy S9 and S9+, including that Samsung has moved the fingerprint reader to below the rear camera housing.
The image also shows that the Galaxy S9, which is on the left, will have only one camera on the back of the phone while the Galaxy S9+ will boast a dual rear camera setup. Both handsets appear to rock a glass design again, but that isn’t too surprising.
What do you think of the look with that camera and fingerprint reader design? Are you looking forward to the Galaxy S9′s arrival?
