Razer Phone owners are starting to get a software update for their flagship smartphone that includes some much needed improvements.
The software update is beginning to roll out now, as Razer Phone owners have confirmed via Razer’s official forums. It measures in at 97.0MB and it seems focused on bringing improvements to the camera and audio experience.
The improvements to the camera, one of the more talked about features of the Razer Phone, include an improvement to shutter speed while using the camera in low light and while using the HDR feature. The camera should also produce clearer shadows, and the overall noise in photographs should be reduced noticeably. The update brings better color cast and overall improved picture quality, too, and lingering bugs tied to the camera app have been squashed.
Audio improvements include the following: Better clarity during playback, improved call quality while using HD Audio, and fixed “some issues” with Dolby audio.
Other improvements that come with this Razer Phone update include a fix for auto-brightness luminosity, a dark style for the Arrival theme icons, and a variety of other unspecified bug fixes.
The update is rolling out now, so keep an eye out for it if you have a Razer Phone. Have you been patiently waiting for an update to the camera?
