Android TV is getting another app for its roster, and this one one of the biggest names when it comes to streaming music.
Announced today, Pandora is officially launching on the Android TV. It will let Android TV owners stream music right into the living room from their TV. The app supports Pandora Premium, the company’s subscription-based streaming option, which offers for no commercials, unlimited skips, and more.
The Pandora app for Android TV will also let users search for albums, artists, and songs right on the TV. The Autoplay feature is present in the new app, too, which means the service will keep playing music similar to what you were listening to if an album or playlist reaches the end of its track list. Pandora on Android TV supports the Thumbs Up playlist as well, so all your favorited tracks are easily accessible.
The new app should be available beginning today. It’s a free download, but be aware that Pandora Premium costs $9.99 per month for the standard plan.
If you use Android TV, will you try out the new Pandora app?
