At the beginning of the month, it was reported that the popular trivia game HQ Trivia would be making its Android debut this Christmas. The Twitter bio for the popular game does still say that the Android version will arrive “this Christmas,” it doesn’t look like it will be a wide release. The account confirmed today that HQ Trivia for Android is now officially available for the mobile operating system, but as a limited beta.
That means only a select number are currently testing the game ahead of its broad launch at some point in the future. Right now, HQ Trivia is penciling in Monday, January 1, as the big, public launch for the popular game. Of course, that is a date that could change at any point ahead of the launch, as delays could still crop up.
Android update: we’re in limited beta as of Christmas Day & are working quickly on patches, so we can continue to roll it out to more testers throughout the week. Our goal is to make it available to ALL by Jan. 1.
