OnePlus has decided it’s about time to send out another software update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, this one focusing on software improvements and bug fixes while also including one new feature for good measure.
With this OxygenOS 4.1.5 update, OnePlus 3/3T owners will be able to get push notifications directly from OnePlus regarding “important information.” The post itself doesn’t articulate on that, so one can only hope that doesn’t mean a flood of notifications for random things, like all the promotions OnePlus will surely run for the upcoming OnePlus 5.
Meanwhile, the rest of the new software is meant to improve performance, offer some tweaks, and update other elements. Here’s the full rundown from OnePlus’s announcement:
New additions:
- Added system push notifications for important information from OnePlus

- Updated network settings for select carriers
- Updated OnePlus Community app to v1.8
