When you have a device like the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ from Samsung, getting offered a kit of free stuff might feel like an embarrassment of riches. So if you’ve been on the fence about buying Samsung’s latest flagship phone, maybe a free Entertainment Kit will sway you on the side of buying one.
Samsung has confirmed that if you buy a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ between May 3 and May 16, you’ll get a free Entertainment Kit that includes a variety of different accessories to spruce up your new phone.
The biggest part of the kit is a six-month subscription to Netflix, which is good for both new customers and existing subscribers. Additionally, Samsung will also include a 64GB microSD card to expand upon the built-in storage. Finally, there’s a Clear View Standing Case for your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+.
If you want a pair of AKG wireless headphones along with your Entertainment Kit, you can get them by buying from Samsung, but you’ll have to fork over $49 to include the headphones with the bundled gifts.
To qualify for the Entertainment Kit, you’ll need to get your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ on either a device installment plan, a lease, a two-year contract, buy it outright, or pick one up through the Samsung Finance Program. You’ll then need to fill out the Offer Claim Form which you can find in the Shop Samsung app beginning on Friday, May 5. If you opt to buy your new phone via Samsung directly, there will just be an option for you to choose to get the Entertainment Kit sent your way.
What do you think of Samsung’s icing on the Galaxy S8 cake? Worth it?
