For years, carrier branding on high-end flagships was a blight upon beautiful phone design. Breaking up the glass and fancy textures was a big carrier logo, announcing to everyone who doesn’t care that you’re on a particular carrier. Some examples were annoying, and some were plain criminal.
With the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, you won’t have to worry about that. T-Mobile and Sprint have been light with carrier branding lately, but even the AT&T and Verizon models will feature no carrier branding whatsoever. Considering how clean the front of the S8 looks, this is great news.
