Google Trips updated with new features, including support for bus and train reservations

Summer is coming fast (at least in the northern hemisphere), which means that a lot of people will soon be taking trips. Luckily for those people, Google is adding new features to its Trips app to make travel easier.

Google Trips is being updated with several new features. For example, the app can now handle bus and travel reservations. All of your past and upcoming bus and travel reservations will now be organized right alongside your flight, hotel, car, and restaurant reservations.

The app will also let you manually add reservations. Simply tap the “+” sign in the bottom right corner of the Reservations tab and you can add a restaurant, car rental, hotel, or flight reservation. You can also add a free-form note if you’d like.

Another new feature is the ability to share reservations with others. Tap the arrow near the top of the Reservations screen and you can email all of your reservation info to someone else, like a travel buddy that doesn’t have Google Trips or a loved one who wants to know which flight you’ll be taking and which hotel you’ll be staying at. All of this info will be sent inside of an email and can also be seen by the recipient in Google Trips if they’ve got it.

If you’ve got the Google Trips app installed on your device, keep an eye out for these new features.
