Facebook announced that its new video app will be coming to TVs and streaming boxes a few weeks ago, and it’s holding true to that promise. You can now download the app to your Samsung Smart TV if it was made in 2015, 2016, or 2017.
The app focuses on showing you videos that were posted by your friends as well as top videos on the site. Facebook is placing more of a focus on video, so pushing an app dedicated to video is a strong first step.
If you’re interested, check it out on your Samsung Smart TV today. It’s still coming to other platforms like the Apple TV in the future. Now it’s up to you to decide whether Facebook has any good, unique content to offer you.
