Discount brings the Sony Xperia XA Ultra’s price below $300

There are plenty of smartphones available with 6-inch displays these days, but most of them are ridiculously overpriced. The Sony Xperia XA Ultra was already cheaper than most, but Amazon has reduced the price of the device to just $299.99.

For that price, you get a 6-inch 1080p display, 21.5 MP main camera, 16MP selfie can, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot (up to 256GB) and a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 SoC.

The Sony Xperia XA Ultra isn’t going to outperform the new Pixel XL or the Huawei Mate 9, but that’s perfectly fine. There are plenty of people who simply want a massive phone and don’t really care about owning a phone that outperforms the competition while running benchmarks. Think of the Sony Xperia XA Ultra as the perfect device for your wife or teenage kids who have been bugging you for a new smartphone for the past few months.
