LG G5 May Come With An All Metal Unibody Design

Despite multiple reports claiming last year’s LG G3 would come with a metal design, it was revealed that the phone would have cost $300 more and the plan was scrapped. However, the company is having a second look for its upcoming flagship smartphone.

According to a South Korean media site, LG is expected to finally feature its all metal unibody design for the LG G5 next year. This comes after South Korean competitor Samsung overhauled its build quality for the Galaxy S6 and Note 5 family featuring a metal and glass build, at the cost of expandable storage and a removable battery.

If LG somehow manages to keep the removable battery and expandable storage that differentiated the LG G4 from the others, the company will have a winner.
