We are now officially in Nexus season as leaks for both the LG and Huawei Nexus phones have been getting better and better.
According to a Korean news outlet MK Post, LG and Google are expected to announce the true spiritual successor to the Nexus 5, commonly known as the Nexus 5 (2015), on September 29th. It’s an odd specific date but it does make sense as Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected to be officially released next month as well. If it does get announced, it’ll most likely be up on the Google Store (previously known as the Play Store) on the same day.
Specs for the phone are still not as detailed as one would like, but it will at least sport a 5.2-inch 1080p/1440p QHD display,Snapdragon 808 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and laser autofocus, fingerprint sensor and a USB Type C connector.
