Another entry level device has entered the market although it’s probably been a little overshadowed by the Moto G (2015) launch. Enter the HTC Desire 626S, HTC’s new budget device. Here are the specs:
- 5″ 720p Display
- Snapdragon 210 Processor
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB Internal Storage
- microSD Card Slot
- 8MP Camera
- 2MP Front Facing Camera
- 2000 mAh Battery
- Android 5.1 with Sense 7
These specs definitely aren’t as enticing as what the Moto G offers but they’re decent nonetheless. HTC could have tried to win some people over by undercutting the already low cost of the Moto G but unfortunately the price is on par if not a bit higher than Motorola’s offering. If you buy the Desire 626S outright, you’ll be looking at $200-$250 depending on which carrier you go with. Speaking of carriers, Bell, Viring, SaskTel, Videtron and WIND Mobile are all now selling HTC’s budget device.
