Yesterday we reported on a leak indicating the Android Lollipop update for the HTC One (M8) on Sprint was going to start rolling out on February 13th followed by the update for the LG G3 on February 16th. Turns out that leak was bit pessimistic as Sprint has released update 4.20.651.10 today which includes Android Lollipop along with removal of the Lumen Toolbar.
As with all carrier updates, you may have to wait for it to be available for your specific device. When available, you should see a notification that an update is ready. You can manually check for the update though by going to Settings -> System updates -> HTC software update -> CHECK NOW. If the update is available for your device, just follow the on-screen prompts.
We will wait to see whether Sprint is able to start rolling out the Lollipop update for the LG G3 in the next few days as well. We will also be watching to see whether any of the other major U.S. carriers are able to get the update out soon.
