Right around a month after Motorola introduced us to an LTE-enabled version of the Moto G, that device has officially been put up for sale.
Motorola is now offering the Moto G 4G LTE on its website for $219 without a contract. The 4G-ified Moto G is available in black and white and comes with 8GB of built-in storage.
So what makes the Moto G 4G LTE different from its plain ol’ Moto G sibling? Well, there’s that “4G LTE” part of its name, as well as the inclusion of a microSD slot for expanding upon the 8GB of included storage.
The full Moto G 4G LTE’s spec list looks like this:
- 4.5-inch 1280×720 display
- 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor
- 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter
- 8GB internal storage
- microSD slot with support for cards up to 32GB in size
- 2070mAh battery
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz
- UMTS 850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz
- 4G LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 17 (700/850/1700/1900MHz)
The original Moto G is one of the better deals in wireless, priced at $179 for a well-designed handset with a respectable display a mostly-vanilla and quickly-updated version of Android. For just $40 more, you can add a microSD slot and 4G LTE, which sounds like a pretty good trade if you ask me.
Now that it’s available for purchase, are any of you planning to order the Moto G 4G LTE?
