Earlier this month a rumor started floating around that claimed that the HTC One M8 would be released on Verizon in red. Well it seems like that rumor has some weight behind it now, with an image supposedly being leaked of the special edition device.
At first glance of the device, it seems pretty much what we would expect, but upon taking a closer look at it, some things seem a little off. For example the official renders of the device show the dual LED flash as being round, while on this image the flash is square. The render also shows the plastic strips as being a little curved, while on the official shots they’re straight. These things add up, and the render could be a fake after all.
