The LG G Watch has not even been released yet and we are already talking about another LG smartwatch. A United States Patent and Trademark Office filing revealed the name of the “W Watch.” This is not the first time we are hearing about an LG smartwatch being released shortly after the G Watch. Would LG really risk the bad publicity of releasing something right after their initial Android Wear device? It sure seems like that may be the case.
But what else could the W Watch be? I think a smartwatch not tied to Android is a very good possibility. Perhaps something that would work with many platforms is something LG is working on.
