We are only a little over a month away from Mobile World Congress, so things are really starting to heat up regarding the new “Sirius” (D6503) smartphone from Sony. It’s expected to be the Xperia Z2, and the rumored specs were already reported last week. Today the specs leak again from another source confirming that initial report.
It’s expected to have a display of 5.2-inches (1080p), a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AB), an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 20.7MP rear camera, and 2.1MP front-facing camera. At this present time, it’s running Android 4.3, but it could get Android 4.4 by the time it hits shelves.
What is new with today’s report is a slew of screenshots were leaked showing the UI. Unfortunately, these screens are based on Android 4.3, and from November 2013, but it will give you an idea of what Sony is thinking for their next flagship.
Hit the break for the images.
