Most of us here at TalkAndroid thought the best phone of 2013 was the Moto X, and it just got better. Motorola is dropping the off contract everyday price of the phone to $399 (16GB). That price is for all U.S. carriers. The bamboo option remains at a $100 premium, which means you could buy a new 16GB wooden Moto X for $499 off contact.
One of the biggest hang ups with the Moto X when it was released, was the price, but Motorola has slowly dropped the price with various promotions. If you’re looking to buy a Moto X, now is a good time, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t a $299 promotion in the spring.
