As promised, starting today you can custom order a Motorola Moto X in your choice of teak, ebony and walnut. This in addition to the already existing bamboo option, and all four are now just $25 extra over the Moto X’s normal asking price, or $74.99 with two year contract.
Aside from the new wood finishes, this is the same Moto X that most of us already know and love. As a refresher, that means a dual-core Qualcomm CPU (as part of teh X8 Mobile computing system), 2GB RAM, 16/32GB storage, a 10.5MP clear pixel rear cam, 2.1MP front cam, a 2200 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat.
Still not sure if the Moto X is right for you? Be sure to check out our full review.
Anyone planning on picking up a customized Moto X with a wood back, or do you feel that the wood rollout was just way too late in the game to be worth picking up?
