Ready to ring in the new year with a brand new smartphone or tablet? Verizon wants to help you out, and so they are offering some serious discounts on a few of their most popular Android devices.
In the smartphone arena, we have the Moto X, Droid Ultra and HTC One for just $49.99 with a two-year contract. For those looking for a handset with killer battery life, the Droid Maxx is also on sale for $149.99. Last but not least, the Droid Mini is also getting discounted down to $0 with two-year contract.
On the tablet front, Verizon is slashing $200 off the asking price of three Samsung tablets: the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is $99.99, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is $249.99 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 is $399.99. Obviously you will still need to sign a two-year data contract to get on these savings.
Being honest, none of these sales are that much better than we often see from places like Amazon or Wirefly, but it’s still nice to be able to get some real savings directly from the carrier.
So how long will the promotion last? Basically until the year runs out. According to Verizon’s website, there is currently 2 days and 5 hours left (at the time of this writing) before the promo ends. For more details, you’ll want to head on over to Verizon’s website.
