Google’s Chromebooks are taking off with multiple manufacturers pushing multiple low priced options to consumers. What’s great is that we’re seeing decent specs accompanying those low price tags. Samsung looks to be raising the bar with their next generation of ARM Chromebooks. Said to feature a Exynos octa-core CPU, the device will also come with a 12 inch (possibly less) 2560×1440 display. On top of that, the device may come with either 16GB or 32GB solid state drives and 3GB of RAM. It is said to also boast about 7 hours of battery life per charge.

A lot of Google’s success with Chromebooks has had a lot to do with the sub $300 price range and has appealed to budget-conscientious folk. The new generation ARM Chromebook will be no different as it will also feature a price somewhere between $250 and $300. We’re not sure when we’ll see it released but we’ll let you know as soon as it’s available. Stay tuned!
