After a successful launch on iOS, Frogmind’s Badland game arrived on the Google Play Store a couple of days ago, bringing the highly-acclaimed dark adventure to Android gamers as well.
Badland is a side-scrolling action adventure game that will offer you 80 unique single-player scenarios to go through, as well as up to four players multiplayer action in 21 levels. In them, you take control of an inhabitant of the dark forest where something has gone “terribly wrong,” and try to figure out what’s happening.
There are plenty of obstacles to overcome during each level, as you can see in the video above, and the obvious goal is to stay alive to move through the level and advance to the next chapter.
Unlike the iOS version, Badland for Android comes free of charge, although only the first 40 levels are included in the free package and ads are also present. In-app purchases are available to unlock the other 40 levels ($1.99) and the multiplayer mode ($1.99). Alternatively, you can pay $2.99 and get everything in a single package. Each purchase will also remove ads.
