CyanogenMod recently announced a screencasting app for Android, and that app was released yesterday through the Play Store beta channel. Of course you can’t simply download the app, that would be too easy! Instead there are a few requirements.
First of all, you must be running CyanogenMod 11 nightlies or later. You also have to join the CyanogenMod community, and you have to sign up for the Play Store beta program. Links are below.
Once those requirements are met, you can download and use the app. The CM screencasting app has been highly anticipated for a number of people, and is interesting because you can initiate recording from any screen by pressing the power and volume up buttons at the same time. Check out the video of the app after the break!
