The Chromecast has been out for a while, but app adoption has been quite slow. Though Chromecast came with a few apps it can stream, third party services were completely left out. Luckily, Pandora has finally updated their app to support Chromecast streaming, but strangely enough it isn’t in the changelog.
The app was updated with a whole new UI for tablets, allowing proper usage on Android tablets 7 inches and up. It actually looks a lot like the web UI. But with this update, people are seeing a streaming button in the corner that will allow you to stream audio to your Chromecast. This is an important win for Google, because a somewhat large company has finally adopted its service.
If you have a tablet or a Chromecast, update the Pandora app on your Android device from the Play Store! Hit the widget below to get updating. And tell us, do you still use your Chromecast?
