Developers will no longer have a limited set of tools to develop apps and services for Google Glass. The company today has unveiled the Glass Development Kit that should open development up for additional developers. In a video on their Developers blog, Timothy Jordan explains what the GDK is all about and highlights offline applications, real-time services, and closer integration with Google Glass’ hardware. For example, gestures that were once limited to system apps can now be used with others. Also, “OK Glass” can be used in conjunction with an app in order to launch it. Hit the break for the video.
