Just last month, there was a leak that showed that Verizon would be offering Samsung’s Galaxy S III mini. Today, a listing on Samsung’s website confirmed the information. Verizon will join AT&T as the official major US carriers of the device, which will go for $49.99 on Verizon. The Galaxy S III mini will come with Android 4.2.2, and Samsung’s software including S Voice, Easy Mode, Group Play, and Share Shot.
The device comes with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, a 5MP camera, 8GB memory, a microSD card slot that can support up to 64GB of storage. The battery has a capacity of 2,000mAh.
Release date hasn’t yet been announced, but it should show up any day now.
