The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is Samsung’s lowest end tablet currently being made, so you can get one for a measly $199.99. That’s cheap considering Samsung has to make a profit on them, unlike Google. However, if it’s still too expensive, and you want to be free of WiFi networks, Sprint has a deal for you.
Sprint has announced that it will be selling the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 on its network for only $49.99. Of course, this requires you to sign a new two year contract, but you’ll be getting a data connection outside of the boundaries of WiFi networks. This is an introductory price, so it won’t last forever.
For that $50, you get a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display, a Snapdragon 400 dual core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of memory with a microSD slot, a 4,000 mAh battery, an IR blaster and Android 4.2 with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface. And of course, you get Sprint’s 4G LTE connectivity. It’s not much (in fact, it’s positively low-end), but it’ll do for those who don’t care about specs.
The device will be coming out October 11, which is when you can get it for only $50. It will launch in white, but a Midnight Black model will become available for the holidays. I can’t personally see the worth in this tablet, but I’m sure some people will love it.
