Supercell, the developer behind the casual hits Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Boom Beach, and Clash Royale, have just announced an all-new free-to-play village builder called Everdale. It's entering into open beta testing per today's announcement. Only select regions will be able to participate in the open beta's early access. Those who live in the Nordics, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Malaysia will participate in the latest testing phase of Supercell's newest game.

Gboard's new settings menu is making an early appearance

Google has been slowly updating its apps with Material You, with Gboard getting its makeover earlier this month. The redesign should only appear on devices running the Android 12 beta, but some elements have made their way onto Samsung devices in a strange turn of events.

Our tipster and I are using the Galaxy S21 Ultra on Android 11 and the Gboard beta 10.9.04.387080390, and found a little surprise in the theme menu.

Google Maps may finally show how much your tolls will cost

It would be a huge help to anyone trying to get around as cheaply as possible

Google constantly tweaks its Maps program to make it more useful for users (and, admittedly, all the businesses that pay to advertise in the app and on the web). According to a message sent to members of the Google Maps preview program, the next major feature to be added will be automatic display of prices for tolls on roads, bridges, and other potentially expensive additions to your navigation route.

Confirmation came from a member of the preview program who was instructed to take a survey in order to direct the Maps development team on how best to implement the feature.
