Rush Wars is Supercell's next combat strategy game, beta now available in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand

Supercel started to hint at its next combat strategy game last Friday with a teaser tweet from an account named "Rush Wars" that contained the number "26" and the word "beta." As of this morning, we now know that this title is currently available as a beta release on the Google Play Store in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. From the looks of it, this is a game that combines many of the mechanics found in earlier Supercell releases, so if you're a fan of the studio's previous work, it appears that Rush Wars doesn't stray too far from what's made the developer so famous.

ARCore renamed to Google Play Services for AR, adds support for Note10 and more devices

Google is always hard at work on adding ARCore support to new devices. This time around, those include the brand-new Note10 and 10+, but other than that, a bigger shift has occurred on the company's AR front – that is, if you count marketing and naming schemes as big shifts. The catchy ARCore Play Store listing makes way for the cumbersome phrase "Google Play Service for AR." The change has already been visible for a while, but the company only introduced the new name in the app's changelog last week, along with announcing support for 60fps rendering on capable devices.

Google Pay 2.96 adds a dark mode

Darkness is nearly upon us. With Android Q's official launch getting closer and closer, Google is still hard at work implementing a grey/black theme for its most important apps so they're ready for Q's system-wide dark mode. The latest to get this is Google Pay.

With v2.96.264233179 of the app, Pay automatically switches to a dark theme when your phone is manually set to use it or when battery saver is enabled.

  Black Desert Mobile is coming to the Play Store this winter

Black Desert Mobile is an MMORPG that's already available on Android, though you can only download it off the Play Store if you live in Korea or Japan. Now that the developer Pearl Abyss has had some time to iron out a few kinks and find some success in the regions the game was launched, the studio has announced on Facebook that a global release will happen this year, which means an English version is expected land on the Play Store sometime in the next eight months.
