DoorDash offers free delivery when you use 'Pay with Google' on an order this month ($7 credit for new users)

If you're a tightwad like me, you'll probably agree when I say food delivery services are a bit of an indulgence. But when there's a promo going on, especially during a chilly time of the year, it becomes a lot easier to justify such an extravagance. Enter DoorDash, which is offering free delivery for anyone who makes an order via its Android app and uses the "Pay with Google" payment option during the month of December.

Google Allo v24 prepares to start chats with Gmail addresses, continues work on camera effects and other UI enhancements [APK Teardown]

A new version of Allo is making the rounds, and again with an evening release on a Friday. So far, no new features have been uncovered in this update, but we're still poking around for something to reveal itself. In the meantime, there's plenty of material to examine under the microscope of a teardown. We can see that contacting people through their Google account may be coming soon. Allo's upcoming camera effects are evolving as two old ones may have been removed, a new one turns up, and they're all getting new icons.

Nanoleaf Aurora review: The coolest and most extravagant smart lights you can own

Some of you may have already heard about the Nanoleaf Aurora. These modular triangular light panels can be formed in any shape you like and are WiFi-enabled, allowing you to control them via your phone or Google Home and Alexa. But those of you who haven't will probably scroll down to see the high price tag and scoff in disbelief. $229.99 for a set of 9 light panels and a music module is a rather extravagant price to pay.

Two versions of 'Playerunknown's Battlegrounds' are officially coming to Android in China, and their trailers are available for your viewing pleasure

I have been biding my time with the recent rumors of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds coming to Android to ensure that it will indeed exist as an official release. After spending some time digging through a few Chinese sites, it does look as though the rumors are legit. As of yesterday Tencent and TIMI Studio Group released an official webpage complete with a trailer for their upcoming game. If that wasn't enough good news, there is a second web page from Tencent that popped up for a different PUBG mobile game developed by Lightspeed & Quantum Studio.

Best Buy offering Google Home two-pack for only $129.98

If you didn’t get your hands on a Google Home between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Best Buy has a pretty good offer for would-be buyers.

Best Buy is offering two Google Home smart speakers for $129.98, which is what a single Home usually costs. But if Best Buy’s promotional material is any indicator, this is a very limited offer. The big box retailer indicates this is “Today’s Doorbuster,” so it sounds like it will only be offered today.

Buying two Google Home units for the price of one is a pretty nice deal. If you plan on keeping both in your own home, you can have music play through both of them at the same time, filling the house with tunes. Or you can use them as an intercom system if you’re so inclined. Plus, you could always gift one for the holidays if you don’t think you need two.

Who’s getting two Google Homes today?

[Hands-on] Morphite, an atmospheric explorative sci-fi shooter that is a heck of a lot of fun

Crescent Moon Games' exploration-based sci-fi first-person shooter Morphite is finally available on the Play Store. And sure it may not have officially released yet, but a final beta is plenty good enough for me to give this a quick test run to let everyone know how it is shaping up.

I would like to briefly mention that Morphite is still in its final beta, though it is available for many regions on the Play Store already.

Verizon launches $300 price cut on Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

If you’ve been in the market for a new smartphone and you’ve been considering Google’s Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, a new Verizon promo might help seal the deal.

Today Verizon is kicking off a promo that knocks $300 off the price of the Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL as long as you pick up one of the new smartphones on a device payment. You do not have to trade in a smartphone to get the discount, either. The $300 will be applied as credits over the course of 24 months.

The promotion will be around for a limited time and starts in corporate retail stores today. If you prefer to do your shopping online, the deal will go live on Verizon’s website on December 3.

If you’re in need of an network extender, Verizon has that base covered, too. It officially launched the Samsung 4G LTE Network Extender 2 today, which is priced at $249.99.

As is the case with other network extenders, this new box will use your internet connection to expand the 4G LTE network connection in your home or office. It supports up to 14 devices at the same time and can cover 7,500 square feet.

Are you going to buy a new Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL using Verizon’s new promotion?
