ZTE Blade V9 now official as well as ZTE Tempo Go with Android Oreo (Go edition)

ZTE took to the MWC 2018 stage today to unwrap three new Android phones.

First up is the ZTE Blade V9. This device utilizes a couple of popular trends in smartphones right now, including a dual rear camera setup that with 16MP and 5MP sensors. ZTE says that these cameras combine to offer “exception low-light” performance. Phase detection autofocus is included, too, for faster focusing on your subject.

The ZTE Blade V9 also offers a 5.7-inch FullHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Above that screen is a 5MP camera, and around back there’s a fingerprint reader. Inside the Blade V9′s shell lives a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, 3,100mAh battery, FM radio, and NFC. There will be two version of the Blade V9 offered, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

And then there’s the ZTE Blade V9 Vita, a slightly toned down version of the V9 Blade. The V9 Blade Vita has a 5.45-inch HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio, dual 13MP and 2MP rear cameras, a 5MP front camera, and a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor.

The Blade V9 Vita will be offered in two variants, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Both models will include a microSD card slot and 3,200mAh battery.

The ZTE Blade V9 and ZTE Blade V9 Vita will launch with Android 8.1. Pricing for the Blade V9 will start at €269 ($331 USD) while the Blade V9 Vita will start at €179 ($220 USD).

Rounding things out today is the ZTE Tempo Go, the company’s first Android Oreo (Go edition) phone. It’s packing a 5-inch 854×480 display, Snapdragon 210 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. There are 5MP rear and 2MP front cameras on there, too, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack and 2,200mAh battery.

The Android Oreo-powered ZTE Tempo Go will be sold unlocked in the US with support for GSM networks. Pricing will be set at $79.99.
