LG teases a new device announcement for July 11

The LG G6 launched earlier this year, and while the V30 has made a few rounds through the rumor mill, there’s one device that may get announced much sooner.

Rumor has it that LG is working on a handset called the Q6, and, as the name teases, it appears to be a smaller variant of the G6 proper. Unfortunately there’s not a lot of information regarding the upcoming handset, other than it will feature a slightly smaller display than what’s available on the G6.

A recent tweet appears to show the Q6 tucked inside a slim case, showing a single camera on the back, no fingerprint reader, and backward-facing speakers — which is certainly an interesting decision. The handset does keep around the minimal bezels, too, for what it’s worth.

As for LG, its teaser video is only 16 seconds long and ultimately asks the viewer, “Need FullVision?” The description of the video drops a hint towards the Q branding, too, reading: “A full, exQuisite view is what you need.
Q-rious? July 11th. Coming soon.” The video is below.

Depending on how much it costs and the specs inside, would you consider picking up a smaller G6 variant?
