Could This Really Be the Google Pixel 2 XL?

Just yesterday alleged cases for the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL leaked online revealing an interesting detail – while the Pixel 2 will probably feature a design similar to this year’s Pixel, the Pixel 2 XL will take advantage of a more modern one a la the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6.

Now a new report from the Android Police comes to confirms this. The publication revealed a render – based on info coming from highly reliable sources –  which showcases the the Pixel 2 XL (or Pixel XL 2017) in all of its glory.

And according to the accompanying information, the Pixel 2 XL should take advantage of a large 6-inch display with 2:1 aspect ratio and 3D glass. The display itself is flat not curved – as previous rumours have claimed – and there’s a glass window on the back just like with last year’s models.

Perhaps the most interesting detail is that the Pixel 2 XL might arrive with a squeezable frame similar to the one we’ve seen on the HTC U11, that will allow owners to squeeze the phone in order to interact with the Google Assistant in various ways.

Pricing details are currently unknown, but we expect to see the Pixel 2 XL make a debut sometime in October.
