LG V30 to launch at IFA 2017, feature OLED display

Reports indicate that LG is going to launch the next device in the V series at IFA 2017. The company will be holding an event the day before IFA opens to announce the upcoming LG V30 and then holding a pre-order period. Pre-orders will be through three South Korean carriers and will be a first for the V series.

The V30 itself may be getting an OLED display, also a first for the series, with the secondary screen the V10 and V20 are known for. It’s also said to feature a Snapdragon 835, dual rear cameras, a built in 3,200mAh battery, IP68-rated water resistance, a nice DAC, a headphone jack, and a choice of 32, 64, or 128GB of memory.

It looks like LG is putting more resources into the V30 this time around, despite the LG G6 being the flagship. Who’s excited about the LG V30 launching? Is the sealed battery a deal breaker for you? Leave a comment!
