LG G6+ Announced with 128GB of Storage and DAC Feature

As anticipated, a new variant of the LG G6 has now made its debut. The new phone baptized LG G6+ comes with a few improvements over the standard G6. Curious to find out what they are? Keep reading below.

For starters, it comes equipped with 128GB of built-in storage. Additionally, the device carries 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC feature, which was also available with the LG G6 in select markets. The handset will also be offered with a pair of B&O Play headphones. LG notes that in some countries the device will ship with wireless charging.

The LG G6 in Canada includes this feature, so this might be taken as an indication that the LG G6+ will also land in the country, although the producing company did not specify whether this will be the case or not.

The new LG G6+ variant will be available in three color options including Optical Astro Black, Optical Terra Gold and Optical Marine Blue. Pricing has yet to be announced.

On top of outing the LG G6+, the Korean tech giant also announced an update for the standard LG G6 which is bound to add a few new features including a face unlock option and a low power consumption mode. After the update, the LG G6 will also display a warning if a user inadvertently covers one of the cameras.

Does the LG G6+ sound better than the LG G6?
